The company was formed in Warwickshire on the 26th May 1946 trading under the name of Early Crops.
The original concept was to manufacture a suitable electrical appliance for the assistance of seed germination for the horticultural industry. In 1980 the company moved to Birmingham where it is still based and the company title was changed to Tube Heat, in order to reflect more accurately the general purpose of the business which had moved on to supplying tubular heaters to Industry and Commerce in general as well as the horticultural market.
Tube Heat is the only company dedicated to the manufacture of tubular heaters and we pride ourselves on the service and quality we offer to our customers.

Their versatility is such that they can also be used to combat condensation that can build up in CONTROL PANELS, LIFT CONTROL ROOMS, SUBSTATIONS, MARINE RADAR & SONAR EQUIPMENT, they are also highly effective in the de-misting of SHOP WINDOWS. Greenhouse Heaters:- Designed with the horticulturalist in mind, TubeHeat greenhouse heaters are a simple and cost effective method of providing frost protection and low background heat, ensuring your greenhouse can be used throughout the year, whatever the weather. Hazardous Area Air Warmers:- range of hazardous area air warmers, designed for warming small work areas or storage areas and similar applications which are located in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas, where the flammable atmosphere is a group 11A, 11B or 11C gas as defined in BS5345 Part 1. Heavy Duty Tubular Heater: A range of very robust tubular heater for heating applications where a waterproof heavy duty convector heater is required. Can be used where washing down may occur. Typical locations include dairies, food storage, mine and quarries, shipboard, container storage, kennels, catteries, zoos, greenhouses and plant/lift rooms.
