Way Back in seventies, Mr. Gulab.R.Mehta saw for himself how life was suddenly shortened for want of industrial security, thereby giving rise to much pain to the near and dear ones and many times a big loss to the industry.
This prompted him to look for ways and means to protect life and limb. His efforts would not just protect the individuals but also save the sudden and untimely crippling of the industry by the loss of an individual.
He took pains to do something himself. Right from the school days, he created an interest in his 5 sons to look for the safety of the industrial worker and do something for them. This motivation had an impact on their lives and today all his five sons are fully involved in the industrial safety of the workers all over India. While Mr.Gulab.R.Mehta has taken aside role in the ?Jayco Group?, as of today Jayco comprise of factories and office in Mumbai. The commuting distance from Mumbai to Valsad is hardly 200 kms. And one can avail the road or rail. While one of the products is the manufacturing of the industrial gloves the company also provides respiratory masks, ear plugs, latex rubber bands and in the medical field latex IV tubing which is very essential for the human life line.
Within a span of 25 yrs , these five brothers have aggressively sourced the market and established themselves moreover they hold key positions in the National Safety Council (NSC). Safety Appliances Manufacturers Association (SAMA) and are well respected by the CLI Authorities and important businesses industrialist for their support to the NSC.
