Neco group of companies, promoted by Mr.Basant Lal Shaw in 1976 at Nagpur in Maharashtra, has its origin in a Grey Iron Foundry. Today it is the largest Indian Group of Iron and steel Foundry with a capacity of 100, 000 tonnes and turn over of US $ 150 Million, both per annum, covering a wide range of finished castings for Automobile, Engineering and construction industries in addition to Cast/Ductile Iron pipes and pipe Fittings.

With the technical collaboration from Shougang International Trade and Engineering Corporation, China, set up a Blast Furnace for production of 375, 000 MT of Pig Iron per annum. It is operating at more than 100% capacity.
Turn-key core and infrastructure projects which include National Highways, Road & Railway Bridges, Steel Plants.

The Group companies and divisions are ISO 9001 accredited.

The principal customers of the company are Automobile sector mainly farm tractor manufactures, Railways, Engineering industry, Public health engineering, refineries, Earth moving and mining equipment manufactures.
