ELMED is involved in the manufacture, development and export of advanced medical equipment for the urology market. The company?s leading products include extracorporeal and intracorporeal lithotripters for the fragmentation of urinary tract calculi. At its factory in ANKARA ELMED has a dedicated research and development unit which develops new products and continually improves the existing product range. Recently, ELMED produced the first ultrasonic localization system which can be added to any lithotripter.
