Armstrong Laser Technology (ALT) located in Freeport, Pennsylvania was launched in January, 1999 to be close to the growing laser and electro-optics manufacturing corridor developing around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. ALT is the second production unit for Decade Optical Systems, Inc. Of Albuquerque, NM. ALT -- operating in an ISO 9002 quality environment -- assembles laser diode array systems and heat exchangers that meet stringent customer contract specifications.

Armstrong Laser Technology is committed to delivering products that perform as expected, when expected, and with the best cost of ownership in the laser and optical industry. Our employees will build items meeting contract specifications, provide reliable and courteous customer support, accurately describe item operation in the product literature, and deliver orders to customer's satisfaction.

Armstrong Laser Technology, a division of Decade Optical Systems, Inc. Of Albuquerque, NM was established in 1999 to serve as the laser diode array manufacturing arm for the Decade Optical family as well as government and commercial users. ALT's unique automated facilities make volume production of the precision optical assemblies possible, and yield not only increased throughput but reliability too.

Frederick Way is the President and CEO of Decade Optical Systems, as well as founder of ALT. Decade Optical Systems celebrated it's tenth year in business in March of 2000. Alex Stockmal, the Vice President and General Manager of ALT, brings over 35 years of experience, mostly in management roles of electronic, electro-optic and optical design, development and manufacturing companies ranging from small through major aerospace contractors. Both Frederick Way and Alex Stockmal believe that ALT is well positioned to fill the exponentially growing needs of the solid state laser marketplace.

Applications range from commercial to defense. Laser Diode Array Cooling Assemblies : ALT manufactures a variety of cooling assemblies for use with laser diode arrays ranging from low power to multi kilowatt dissipation.
