CLI is a Los Angeles based company with over 20 years of manufacturing experience, offering customers domestic and Asian outsourcing solutions. To keep pace with offshore manufacturing, CLI developed relationships with Chinese manufacturing partners.

Carl Loy, CLI President :-
With 18 years of results-driven Manufacturing Production Management, Carl is well-versed in all areas from contract to final product in precision components manufacturing, CNC equipment, engineering, reverse engineering, drawing new development product blueprints, adhering to strict military specifications and assembly of complex machines. His hands-on experience runs the gamut of ISO 9000 implementation, extensive materials purchasing, planning and scheduling for on time delivery, as well as inventory, warehouse and shipping/receiving. Carl's strong negotiating skills, persistence, resourceful planning and success in meeting delivery deadlines make him a valuable player to have on your team. Through frequent travel to China and meetings with Chinese manufacturing experts, Carl established a network of offshore outsourcing companies. This network became the foundation for CLI, which transforms Chinese manufacturing into Asian outsourcing. He named his Chinese sourcing company CLI.

Lou has over 12 years of sales and marketing experience, with a main focus on manufactured products for industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, fiber optics, commercial production and many more. His hands-on approach, ability to draw and read blueprints, demonstrates how Lou goes beyond the capabilities of a normal sales and marketing executive. Understanding that quality manufacturing and on time delivery form the foundation for future sales, Lou stays on top of orders and delivers excellent customer service. He fully understands the quoting process and works with engineers to make sure the product can be delivered in a high performance fashion at the lowest cost for his clients.

Even so, base your decision to outsource on the labor intensity of the production. Any high quantity project requiring labor-intensive work such as tooling, packaging or assembly can be produced at low cost in China. By high quantity production we mean runs of 1, 000 pieces or more. Small runs of a few hundred pieces aren't economical for Chinese sourcing.
