Transco Industries, Inc., was incorporated in Oregon in 1961 by Jack W. Brown, Jr. The company was started with the intention of providing materials handling system components throughout the Pacific Northwest to the growing pulp and paper industry and to other industries using materials handling equipment. The company also provided belt splicing, repair, installation and the designing, manufacturing and servicing of specialized industrial equipment.

In 1969, Jack Brown purchased Acme Metal, Inc., as a complement to Transco, and the companies were later merged together as Transco Industries, Inc. The new larger facilities, experienced engineering personnel, and the heavy equipment acquired from Acme, allowed the company to expand its product lines and its share in the marketplace.

By the early 1970. S, Transco was manufacturing and marketing large bulk materials handling equipment and various types of vehicle wash equipment for a wide array of industries. Now, over 35 years later, Transco Industries, Inc., remains a major supplier to the pulp and paper, timber, shipbuilding, recycling, and waste disposal industries for its materials handling equipment, and has emerged as one of the revolutionary leaders in the design and manufacture of innovative vehicle washing equipment.

Transco Industries, Inc., has developed and tested a complete line of wash equipment for cleaning the exterior of almost any vehicle. This has had a natural growth through the years into a full line of sophisticated automatic wash systems for automobiles, buses, trucks and trains. In addition, Transco holds the patent on the Crown Model C-500 Internal Trailer Washer, a unique automated robot for cleaning the interiors of containers and vans.

Because of our involvement with specialized industrial equipment not related to wash systems, we have always been able to bring new ideas and sophistication to the industry that are unmatched, but often copied by our competitors.

Transco Industries has remained in this industry and kept an emphasis in the field of heavy commercial and industrial vehicle wash equipment as well as material handling and special marine products. Since inception, Transco Industries has brought new attention to detail and customer satisfaction, expanding both the equipment line and sales for over 40 years.

Transco is currently comprised of three divisions: the Steel Fabrication Division, the Belting Products Division, and the Fleet Wash Division, and is located at 5534 N. E. 122nd Avenue in Portland, Oregon. This location is the home of our manufacturing plant as well as the corporate offices. The main building is 45, 000 square feet, and sits on five plus acres of land. Transco has affiliates from coast to coast - with the highest quality service in the industry.

Our Products and Services: -Transco's Enviro-Screen us a multi use system. When used with water intake systems, the self cleaning screen prevents fish (smolts to adults) as well as contaminants from entering the water intake flow. Screen mesh size is adjustable to best match flow requirements.
