PROTEL was formed in 1964 by a group of technocrats, who had worked in Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT), Bangalore for over 10 years. The company started manufacturing tools & fixtures and gradually diversified as manufacturers and exporters of Machine Tools since 1967. PROTEL has developed over 50 types of machines tools for a wide range of industries namely auto electricals, aerospace, brake lining, defence, engine valves. Electronics, fluid power, two wheeler components and other auto ancillaries. We are also one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of different kinds of broaching machines in India.
Quite a number of these machines were designed and manufactured for the first time in the country as import substitution. PROTEL have manufactured and sold over 1000 machines of all types. PROTEL's objective has been Total Solution to any Machining problem involving design, manufacture & commision to full customer satisfaction.

PROTEL has its full fledged manufacturing facility and a well laid-out factory building of its own.

PROTEL has a dedicated team of well trained work force of 50 employees with specialised team of skilled technicians for each of' its product groups.

Design of machine is done with a totally professional approach by experts in the field and with close interaction with customers on their specific requirement. Some of PROTEL customers have over 50 machines of' identical type or a variety of machines all manufactured by PROTEL.

PROTEL machines being custom built and to specific customer requirements, has its own quality norms and testing standards to meet BIS/Schlesinger. PROTEL has a full fledged centralised after sales service support to customers all over the country.

The Company's products are patronaged by a wider range of customers who are also market leaders and have a Brand image of international repute namely Bajaj Auto, Denso India, Delphi TVS, Escorts, Lucas TVS, Rane Engine Valves, TVS Motors, etc.
