The knitwear & garment industry of India took a quantum - leap forward in the beginning of 1980's towards new developments in design, production and quality. But due to the dearth indigenous sophisticated machines for processing and finishing to keep the quality control up to the international standards the idea to manufacture the required equipment was conceived by Mr. Malkiat Singh Dhami in 1982 with engineering background and considerable experience of machine designing. Founded in 1982. Voltex originally provided finishing machinery for woollen knitwear & hosiery industry. From its inception, the focus of Voltex has been a commitment to providing the most professional and responsive service available. A rapidly growing industry increasing requirements for state- of - the - art technology and encouraged by expending list of satisfied customers. Voltex entered in to the area of manufacturing highly sophisticated machines and equipment which was only possible with the latest know- how to engineering expertise in the sector.
Voltex soon appeared as a leading brand name for the textile and hosiery manufacturers, dying plants, hotels, hospitals, drycleaner and laundry houses at national and international levels. In the early 1990 's Voltex carved a niche in the garment printing industry of india as the pioneer in making of textile dryers for the screen printer who required this particular equipment for the printing of new generation ink systems and plastisols in particular. The necessary feedback on variables from the field experts and ink-technologists blended with the strength in engineering, Voltex produced electric as well as IR dryers for the maximum productivity and reliability. All equipment manufactured by Voltex is customer driven in design function and known as the most versatile dependable and cost efective equipment available.
