1) Ceriated tungsten electrode:
Huye ceriated tungsten electrode is a top quality product that adheres to international standards. It is used to help inert gas protect electric when welding and plasma cutting. Cerium oxide is used as an additive so as to eliminate the radioactive contamination of thoriated tungsten electrode and improve labor protection.
The compression strength of the arc beam is narrower, more concentrated and more stable. The electric discharge power is 10% lower than that of thoriated tungsten electrodes. The allowable electric current is also 5-8% higher than that of thoriated tungsten electrodes. Its wear is lowest and its cathode durability is the longest.
2) Thoriated tungsten electrode:
As a traditional product, thoriated tungsten electrode application area has become more and more limited to radioactive contamination.
3) Pure tungsten electrode:
Suitable for welding under AC, mainly used when welding aluminum and aluminum-alloy.
4) Lanthanated tungsten electrode:
The lanthanated tungsten has become popular in the welding field because of its good welding performance. The electronic conductivity of lanthanated tungsten is closest to that of 2% of thoriated Tungsten. Welders can easily replace thoriated tungsten electrode with lanthenated tungsten electrode without making any welding program changes, avoiding the radioactivity from thoriated tungsten electrode. Another advantage of lanthanated tungsten is its ability to bear high currents and the lowest burn-loss rate.
5) Zirconiated tungsten electrode:
Zirconiated tungsten has good performance when welding, especially under a high load current. Zirconiated tungsten electrodes cannot be replaced by any other electrodes in terms of its excellent performance. The electrode retains a balled end when welding, which results in less tungsten permeation and good corrosion resistance.
6) Yttriated tungsten electrode:
Mainly applied in the military and aviation industries with a narrow arc beam, high compressing strength, and highest welding penetration at a medium and high current.
