METATECH to enhance the resistance to wear and Ideal for resisting wear in Cement, Power, Iron & Steel Industries, and Mining etc. The range offers different compositions to suit various service conditions
Mailhard WP1 composite wear plate is unique, produced by automatic welding process under strictly controlled parameter and condition to ensure a deposit with an ideal composition and microstructure.
High percentage of complex carbides is uniformly deposited over a customer specific structural steel or boiler steel base plate. They may be easily fixed by welding on the back or bolting.
Mailhard WP1 is available in "ready to install shape and size" as it is manufactured as per the customer specific thickness and dimension.
Plates can be easily cut the size with help of plasma cutting machine and it can be cold rolled and formed to required dimension.
The plates are subjected to thorough quality tests to ensure optimum quality. Ultrasonically test for microstructure defect, Microstructure analysis for carbide distribution, tolerances test for thickness and straightness of plate.
