Major constructional details:
Rolls: Chilled cast iron with surface hardness 480 / 520 BHN. The rolls are cooled by water or heated by steam inside.
Stand Frame & Apron: Heavy Duty Steel Casting.
Bed: Common bed construction, steel fabricated.
Journal bearing Housing: Housing is made of Steel Casting fitted with Anti friction roller bearing.
Lubrication: Grease / Oil lubrication system to lubricate Bearings fitted in housing.
Roll clearance adjusting unit: Through worm and worm gear drive clutch rod for parallel sheeting hand wheels to close the nip from one point only.
Reduction Gearbox: Helical reduction gearbox Shanti / Greaves make Direct coupled with rear roll and direct coupled with motor.
