Description :
Material of construction : Self supporting main structure construction in Stainless Steel. Drying, cooling and stablizing zones in Stainless Steel (316 quality) and double walled stainless steel ( of 316 quality ) in heating zone with asbestos free insulation.
Drives : Electrical drive motor with frequency converter for conveyor belt controlled by the container contact switch at the tunnel infeed.
Transport arrangement : Horizontal loop conveyor in Stainless steel. Lateral guidance by means of vertical slats on both sides of the Horizontal conveyor belt. Return of the belt outside of the heating zone. Stainless Steel panel at the end of the cooling zone to separate the non-sterile area from the sterile area.
Control Devices : Acentral control panel with programmable logic controller (PLC) and Panel View 550 of Alien Bradley with one 80 column dot matrix printer.The operator friendly console provides the user to view on the monitor, the process/cycle in progress, view alarms, and also key in variable parameters for individual cycles using soft touch key pad.
Electrical Installation : Interlocking devices for temperature control and container accumulation at infeed / outfeed, overload protection and all safety gears are provided. To and fro cabling (2meters) from Tunnel to Control panel is included in our scope.
Drying Zone : For the Drying Zone the air taken from the room is prefiltered and aspirated by a blower through HEPA filter. Exhaust blower is provided underneath conveyor for vapour extraction.
Sterilizing Zone : The sterilizing zone mainly comprises of resistance heating elements, HEPA filters and temperature regulating devices. Hot filtered air at approximately 330?C is recirculated in this zone which sweeps the containers from top to bottom. The equalpressure drop across the filters enables in creating an extremely even distribution of air circulation. This uniformly distributed hot air sterilzes and depyrogenates the containers.
Cooling and Stabilizing zone : In this area (arrangement similar to drying zone) the containers are subjected to laminar flow of HEPA filtered air taken from the room. The air flow is profiled such a way that the glass temperature as it exited the sterilizing zone would be transitioned at a nearlylinear rate. The exhaust blower below the conveyor belt extracts heated air and ejects to outside.
