MIXED METAL OXIDE COATED ANODE ( MMO COATED ANODES ) :-
MMO Coated Anode ( Mixed Metal Oxide Coated Anodes ) are produced by applying a mixture of precious metal oxides on a specially treated precious metal ( Titanium / Niobium ) substrate.
Then the MMO Coated substrate will undergo multiple thermal treatments at elevated temperatures. This process will achieve very good bonding properties between the mixed metal oxide coating and the metal ( titanium / niobium / tantalum / zirconium ) substrate.
Which yeilds very long life time to TiTaN's ATMA ( Activated Titanium Metal Anodes ).
For MMO Coated anode ( Precious Metal Oxide coated anodes ), normally Titanium ( Ti ) is used as an substrate material. Titanium ( Ti ) is highly resistant to corrosion, chemical attacks and it has high mechanical strength.
This Activated Titanium / Niobium / Tantalum / Zirconium Metal Anode ( anodes ) are having excellent electrolytic properties.
TiTaN's MMO coated anodes are having high current outputs. Depend upon the resistivity and the chemical property of the electrolyte, the maximum current density and the MMO coating wear rate will vary.
