Description :
Precision Ground, with high positive ground chip breaker and clearance. Use this aggressive, positive insert on all non-ferrous materials (Aluminium, brass, copper, graphite, etc.). When using these inserts, cutting speeds as high as 1000m/min can be used depending on the application and the material. The capability of you machine tool is the only limit for the performance and productivity of this insert.

-Very high cutting speeds possible which will drastically cut down on machining time of products machined from soft, non-ferrous materials.
-High positive ground chip breaker and high rake angle which will slice through the soft materials with greater ease. This assures the non fusing of soft chips into the hard insert which happens due to the heat at the cutting point and the rubbing action during cutting action.
