Description :
A two-pack etch primer for use on non-ferrous surfaces, 1001 Wash Primer has been specially designed for passivating the metal and ensuring adhesion to galvanized iron, aluminums, light alloys, etc. This product should be used in conjunction with other conventional primers. It is recommended for use on aluminium cladding, galvanized rails or pipes, metal sprayed steel gratings, etc.
Thinning : Thinner 846.
Uses : All light alloy metals like aluminium, galvanised & tin sheets only.
Finish : Matt.
Covering Capacity : 8-10 sq. metres per litre at an average DFT of 6 - 8 microns per coat. (Avoid applying a thick coat of the material).
Drying Time : Touch dry : 10 - 15 minutes. Dry to handle : 1 hour. Hard dry : 2 hours.
Color Range : Yellowish.
Packing : 2, 8 & 40 litres.
Shelf Life : 12 Months
Flash Point : Above 10?C
Undercoats : Self.
Directions of Use : Mix base & hardener in ratio of 1:1 by volume. Wait for 30 minutes before use.
Product Applications :
Application : Brush / roller for small areas. Conventional / airless spray.
